Welcome to Wahldun House. Losing your home to a fire, flood, or any other natural disaster is devastating. When a house fire happened to our family, I could not find stories written by someone who had lived through a similar event except for one. I wanted to know how they managed to get through such a life altering disruption to their world. Where does a person even begin? This blog and site exist to

• share the journey of our house fire and to provide hope to those who have suffered any type of disaster to their home
• share the process I traveled to rebuild our home
• share the process I traveled to replace items we lost
• share the love and talent of design that I never knew I had until I was forced to use a hidden passion
